Meadowood Chesapeakes in Conformation
Sheba finished her championship May 17, 2009 at the Coyote Hills Kennel Club show under judge Rita Bell
going WB,BOW, BOS. Sheba was bred by Kathy Miller & Theda Mobley and is owned by Sylvia Holderman,
Debra Nelson and David Holderman. Sheba has already produced a lovely litter of pups for us who are now
entering the world of canine competition. We have high hopes for their success.
Winter finished her championship at a year of age. She will be shown in 2007 as a special.
We have high hopes for her as we feel that she will surpass all Meadowood Chesapeake
records.
Zippy is a delightful bitch to work with. She's shown herself to be a reliable
working dog whether it be conformation, obedience or agility. She enjoys working
and exhibits high trainability. She's proven herself to be a producer of fine
puppies having out of her first litter produced 5 bench champions, 4 CD's, 1 CDX
a JH, 3 NA'S, 2 NAJ'S a MX and MXJ.
Curry is a lovely well balanced dog with a beautiful coat and marvelous
temperament. He finished his championship easily at a young age and has enjoyed
running for his novice agility titles. Curry has proven himself to be a fine
stud dog, producing 3 champions with more close to finishing their titles.
Spring is a lovely sedge bitch, she is in training for her utility title. Spring,
who took time out for a litter of 11 puppies before finishing her championship in February
of 2002, is now watching her pups win in the show ring.
Megan was our first
Chesapeake to carry the Meadowood name. She was also the first champion we
bred as well as our first UD dog. Although never bred Megan was a fine
ambassador for the Meadowood name as she exhibited style, type, trainability
and excellent temperament. Buck finished
his Championship the day after the 1995 Specialty at the Malibu K.C. under
Mrs Betty Krause. Buck was the first Meadowood Chessie to receive his
Championship and Master Hunter. Buck is a litter mate to Ch *Meadowoods
Lightning Bolt WD Willie is a fine
young dog with proper size, coat, and balance. Willie finished his
Championship in style, by going best of breed over Specials. Willie is
owned , trained and handled by
June Laman from Los Gatos, CA.
Brave finished his championship in April of ‘96 at the age of 15 months handled
by his owner George Makatura of San Jose, CA. In February of 2000 he earned a
JAM in a qualifying stake hosted by the Sacramento Valley Retriever Club and 6
months later he finished his MH title. Brave has now entered the agility ring
earning his AX as well as continuing to train and compete in the obedience ring
to earn his UD.
Merry finished her championship in the
summer of 2001. She also is owned and handled by George Makatura.
Jack is the first of the
Twig and Spring puppies to finish his championship. He finished out of the 12 to 18
month puppy class at 13 months of age. Jack is owned by Danielle and Debbie Nelson
of Corralitos, CA and was shown to his championship by Danielle. Poppy is owned and
handled by June Laman of Los Gatos, CA. June put the first major on Poppy at
Poppy's very first show in the spring of 2002 at the age of 6 months.
Poppy is the second champion and the first CDX titled dog out of the
Twig and Spring litter. Summer is a high
energy go getter type of dog who fully enjoys life. She finished her championship at the
Santa Cruz K.C. show this year and will then start to get serious about her obedience work.
Summer's sweet nature and willingness to learn make her a fun dog to train and
work with. Autumn is shown winning at the Golden Gate KC.
This is a supported entry for Chesapeakes and Autumn picked up a 4 point major at this show.
Autumn is owned by Steve Sousa of San Jose, CA and was handled to her championship by
David Holderman. Sylvia Holderman |
