Meadowood Chesapeakes in the Field
Buck is owned, trained and handled by Arlen Parker of Yakima, WA.
Buck is the first Meadowood Chessie to complete his JH SH MH and WDQ. He did this without
failing a test. At left Buck is pictured with Arlen and friends in a Washington corn
field after a day of goose hunting.
Scout is owned, trained and handled by Mike Fixter of Santa Cruz, CA.
Scout is another Meadowood dog that has proven that she can do the work that she was bred
to do. Scout is pictured right with her prize of the day. A load of Ducks and Geese on the
bike that she rode back from the blind. Now that's a good dog!
Brave is owned by George Makatura of San Jose, CA. Brave finished his master
hunter title last year trained and handled by Luanne Pleasant.
Luanne also handled Brave to a qualifying JAM at a licensed field trial. Target may only have his Junior hunter title,
but he is a fine gun dog. Shown sitting next to some dead grass, Target
waits for the command to be released on the last mark of the day. Target is
owned trained and handled by David Holderman of Santa Cruz, CA. Archer is a another good example
of showing the versatility in the Meadowood Chessie. Recieving titles in
three categories and completing them under the age of two, his Championship,
Obedience, and Junior Hunter. Archer is owned, trained and handled by David
Abernathy. With hunting titles at each end of her name,
Callie is another Meadowood Chessie that has proven that being a retriever
comes natural. Owned and trained by Paula Perrett.Sylvia Holderman |
